Our Vision and Beginnings

Operation Self-Reliance, or OSR, is an initiative that prioritize self-reliance and close-knit connections.

The Arizona OSR Land Co-op is rooted in the serene ambiance near Snowflake, Arizona, at Coslor Cove. It is the second co-op of the OSR Land Co-ops.

Both the Utah and Arizona co-ops, are dedicated to fostering self-reliance, sustainability, and community support. These off-grid communities provide members with opportunities to own and cultivate their own homesteads, free from conventional utility dependencies. The Utah OSR Land Co-op, at Riverbed Ranch, spans 1,245 acres. The Arizona OSR Land Co-op, at Coslor Cove, spans 1,298 acres. Both co-ops offers a lifestyle independent of mortgage, power, and water bills, emphasizing organic farming and clean living.

Both co-ops are part of the broader “Operation Self-Reliance” mission, aimed at creating resilient and self-sustaining communities where families can live, learn, and thrive together in harmony with nature.
